Our Supported Living Coaches work closely with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) who live in the community or own their own homes. Coaches enter into client’s private homes to aid in understanding medications and doctor’s instructions as well as to help create monthly budgets, balance check books and perform banking transactions. Our staff also assists in meal planning, grocery shopping, medical appointments and other outings in the community. Supported Living Coaches work together with their clients to develop and implement a plan geared toward their individualized goals. Other areas of support include roommate matching, finding and securing rental properties or help in purchasing their own home. Our goal is to encourage people with IDD to maximize their individual abilities and live as independently as possible.
